Rod and love child he gave up reconciled
THE daughter who Rod Stewart gave up for adoption when he was a teenager has revealed how they are now reconciled.
Sarah Streeter, 55, who didn’t know that the rocker was her dad until she turned 18, has also told how she overcame drug addiction.
Father and daughter were in contact in the 80s, but Sarah fell into a cycle of drug and alcohol dependence, and the pair didn’t see each other for decades.
Now she says she has been clean for two years and that things with dadof-eight Rod, 73, are better than ever. She said: “Our relationship has evolved a lot. It’s taken its time because he’s not just my dad. He’s a big star.”
