Talk TV Horgan series On The Verge of greatness

RTE’S latest comedy offering looks promising with writing from Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan and a top cast to boot. Six-part series

is set in Dublin and follows the lives of three women in their 30s, played by Kerry Condon, Nina Sosanya and Eileen Walsh. If you’ve seen the trailer and are wondering why Kerry, left, looks so familiar it’s because she has a string of hit shows under her belt, including HBO’S Rome and Netflix’s Better Call Saul. While everyone else is married with kids, Laura, Katie and Alison are going in the opposite direction. Episode one features a love triangle and an artificial insemination.

Women On The Verge kicks off on RTE Two on Thursday at 10.30pm.
