Spying row pastor home to see Trump
Pastor Brunson DONALD Trump welcomed pastor Andrew Brunson to the Oval Office yesterday after he was released from jail in Turkey.
Mr Brunson was accused of spying and aiding terrorists and held for two years in a case that hurt ties with the US.
He flew home America yesterday.
President Trump thanked the Turkish president for help freeing him, insisting no deal had been struck with Turkey.
He tweeted: “It will be wonderful to see and meet him. He is a great Christian who has been through such a tough experience.”
