Carjack mum in bag snatch fear

- BY JOHN KELLY

A MUM has told how she feared she would die as a carjacker held a blade to her throat and stole her designer handbag.

Claudia Iorga, 31, was robbed by a thug who smashed her car’s window as she sat waiting for traffic lights to turn green.

And the mother of two said: “I didn’t know if it was a knife or a sword – I thought he would kill me.”

The attacker grabbed her Louis Vuitton bag containing her passport, credit cards and other items and fled into a Motorist Claudia nearby park in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

Another motorist stopped and chased the thief but did not find him.

Claudia added: “I’m glad I’m alive. A car window can be replaced but the mother of two children can’t.”
