- BY DEMELZA de BURCA

Lucy Kennedy TV star Lucy Kennedy has admitted she’s one step closer to cracking the UK and has her sights set on two big presenting gigs.

The Dublin presenter, who is signed up to a British talent agent, is filming the final episode of her hit Virgin Media One series Living With Lucy.

Lucy, 42, told the Sunday Mirror: “There’s two gigs I’ve ear-marked, it’s just finding the time.

“I definitely haven’t ruled out the UK market.”

The Ireland’s Got Talent host has already made an impression on TV guru Simon Cowell and revealed he will be “back over to keep an eye on us”.

Filming gets under way next month with Michelle Visage, Denise Van Outen, Louis Walsh and Jason Byrne returning.

The mum of three said she will only be missing six days from her Radio Nova breakfast show.

She added: “I love being back on radio.

“It’s not a tough gig, I just go in and laugh. And then I finish around 12.30pm and pick up the children from school and then I’m a mum for the rest of the day.”

Lucy also said her new clothing line, with an Irish company, will be hitting shelves before Christmas.

She added: “My mum is a dress maker so it’s in my blood.”

The star, who was on hand to launch Eddie Rocket’s healthier menu in Dublin’s Liffey Valley shopping centre earlier this week, said she feels “extremely lucky” with how life has turned out for her.

She added: “Everything has fallen into place. I’ve always had a good business sense so I’ve always had a plan.

“I’m extremely lucky – three healthy babes, a husband that I love, a breakfast radio show and two of Virgin Media One’s biggest shows.”
