Michelle in €3k movie debut flop
Corrie star in film MICHELLE Keegan’s first stab at the big screen has bombed at the box office.
The former Corrie star’s movie debut, Strangeways Here We Come, made just €1,702 in its first weekend.
Takings fell to a pathetic €180 a weekend later.
It has made €2,990 to date, less than Michelle, 31, was paid for her part.
The indie film was also savaged by critics.
The black comedy centres on an estate in Salford, where residents decide to kill a loan shark.
A source said: “Michelle is well thought of and is starting to make a name for herself in Hollywood – this is disappointing.”
But another source said: “It had a very limited release. It was never going to be a blockbuster.”
