Rockett’s review
AND HIS PLANS TO START A FAMILY
Dr Ranj must have been at the meds to keep up that fixed grin. His American Smooth with Janette was decent but he’s got to fix his expression. Score 25 Oh dear! Those big pants Lauren! Those lifts AJ! Her legs were everywhere. Their contemporary dance reminded me of French and Saunders. Score 24
Great tango routine Oti, I loved all the clever details. Graeme, the showman, really went for it as usual and he’s bowling me over week after week. Score 29
Watching Ashley I forget she’s not a professional dancer – oh, hang on a minute. A beautiful rumba with Pasha but we knew she can dance. Score 36
Lots of chemistry and energy between Seann and Katya (as we know) and I really liked this quickstep. The judges didn’t think it was his best. Score 24
A really sexy samba from Stacey. Plenty of wild abandonment. You’re a finalist in the making and Kevin is an amazing teacher. Score 33
Technically strong, there is a beautiful connection between Joe and newly single Dianne. A gentle and romantic waltz from the man to watch. Score 29
I wonder if Graziano is ever going to do up his shirt. Vick did her best to keep up but couldn’t match his cha-cha-cha. Like they were clubbing. Score 20
The Viennese Waltz suited elegant Kate and she looks more comfortable in Aljaz’s arms than out of them. Not really a contender. Sorry Kate. Score 26
Dark horse Danny does it again - this time with a fast and furious jive as he and Amy kicked and flicked their way to the top of the leaderboard. Score 37
I loved the choreography. Giovanni came up with a really creative and unusual foxtrot and Faye more than lived up to his dance demands. Score 33
Charles and Karen chose street and commercial for their couple’s choice and the judges loved it. I hope they avoid the dance off and get a break. Score 36
