‘England new stars will shine’
JAMES GRAHAM says it’s time to back the new England generation – not cry over absent stars.
The three-test series against New Zealand kicks-off this Saturday, with coach Wayne Bennett missing a host of key men, including Sam Burgess, Gareth Widdop and Kallum Watkins.
But veteran prop Graham — (left) who skippered England to victory over France in midweek — believes the new breed can step up to the mark. Graham said: “I don’t see the point in focusing on who’s not here.
“Let’s focus on who is here and get behind them, because these boys have the chance to impress.”
