Rockett’s review
Danny and Amy show off the winning moves that have made him boost his fuel intake Seann and Katya’s dance Kate and pro Aljaz Faye and Giovanni A zombie thriller from Graeme and Oti. It had a spooktacular moonwalk but the rest of the cha-cha-cha wasn’t his best. Hope this won’t bury him. Score: 21
Wow! The clock hands at the start were fantastic and I loved the Doctor Who theme. Stacey and Kevin’s terrifyingly terrific tango was sharp and slick. Score: 35
At last Ranj’s insane grin has come into its own! His Monster Mash jive with Janette would have worked on kids’ TV but didn’t cut the mustard on Strictly. Score: 20
Ice queen Kate’s rumba with Aljaz didn’t quite melt the judges’ hearts. This dance separates the best from the rest and sadly Kate’s is in “the rest”. Score: 20
Danny is this year’s surprise success and his American smooth with Amy was no exception. He is scarily good week in, week out. A real ballroom blitz! Score: 30
Another great turn by Ashley with a cheeky Charleston. Outstanding choreography by Pasha and the highest score so far – but where do they go from here? Score: 39
‘Toymaker’ Seann was playing with ‘doll’ Katya. Not for the first time, eh? Loved the concept and chemistry but it’s all about timing and Seann’s was a bit off. Score: 20
Charles’ jive brushed away the cobwebs. Let’s Do the Time Warp Again – but not in the dance-off. It will be a horror show if he and Karen don’t make it to Blackpool. Score: 25
Faye’s love of performing shone through in her theatre and jazz couple’s choice with Giovanni. Great to see a new dance style too. Jazz hands! Score: 39
Joe might have had fake blood on him but you can’t fake chemistry! A frightfully fab foxtrot by him and Dianne. Darcy predicts he will, er, go all the way. Score: 35
Lauren’s paso doble as a wicked queen was a fine finale to the Halloween show. I love her trust in AJ as he literally throws her around the dance floor. Score: 29
