Talk TV Brendan gets his facts right on trivia show

-

Comedian Brendan O’carroll, below, is best known as Agnes Brown but he’s won himself a new fan base for his BBC quiz show.

airs well past the watershed on BBC One (Mondays, 11.10pm) and that might be just as well as he stirs mischief with team captains Danny O’carroll and Paddy Houlihan (aka Dermot Brown and Buster Brady). Brendan, 63, said: “We record For Facts Sake in the same studio we record Mrs Brown’s Boys and it did feel strange walking around without high heels.” The show celebrates ordinary people and their extraordinary facts with members of the audience being invited to play the game. Teams try to outfox each other with their facts and true trivia.
