Traffic chaos after collision

THE M50 was hit with traffic chaos yesterday after a collision forced long tailbacks.

The incident was on the southbound side at J16 Cherrywood and emergency services rushed to the scene.

AA Roadwatch said: “Emergency services dealt with a collision that was fully blocking the M50 southbound.”

It initially just blocked the right lane, but the road was closed to allow work to clear the scene.
