Actress Ingrid on ‘reality of tragic illness’ in thriller finale
are giving away no spoilers. Striking Out star Ingrid, below, admitted it was important to show the real effects of incurable MND. She said: “You have to show how hard it is, how tragic it is, and what can happen to your relationships. “It’s so hard to maintain a relationship with your husband.” Ingrid told how she had no problem filming the naked bathroom scene as she knows Adrian and “the crew were lovely”. The production also took great care to show the disease in a sensitive way by meeting with members of the Irish MND Association. She added: “It is very serious and there are people watching who may have it or have it in their family.” Blood is on Virgin Media One tomorrow at 9pm.
