Sheeran’s pants undie the charity hammer for €150
ONE of singer Ed Sheeran’s fans seeking a briefs encounter with the superstar has blown €150 on a pair of his orange boxer shorts.
The pants were one of 330 of Ed’s items that went under the hammer, raising €60,000 for a hospice.
Ed’s bedroom clear out sale also included a guitar which sold for €13,000, five times the asking price. It was bought by Andy
Singer Ed Sheeran Austin, of Diss, Norfolk, who said: “My heart was pounding, I just expected the numbers to keep going up.” Among the 500 online bidders was Leanne Row, of Stowmarket, Suffolk, who spent €70 on a keyring, unable to afford the singer’s old notebook. Other items from the 27-year-old star’s mansion in Framlingham, Suffolk, included trainers, headphones, a rugby shirt with his name on and a harmonica that made €500.
