Dumped tot mother ‘gave up six kids’

A BRITISH woman who allegedly abandoned her newborn baby in a Malaga hospital had six children taken away from her before moving to Spain, it emerged yesterday.

The child, who was premature, was in a baby unit and the mum was on a general ward when she left with her partner.

A Spanish newspaper said police found out her parenting history after finding them in a village 15 miles away where they live with her ex-pat father.

The woman, aged around 40, was due to face court yesterday.

Her partner was arrested for child abandonment.

Police said the mum left hospital “without saying anything to medical staff ”.

The baby is understood to be healthy.
