1,000 missing in US wildfires
Cremated bus MORE than 1,000 people were missing last night as raging wildfires continued to engulf California.
Rescuers discovered eight more bodies as 9,000 firefighters battled the blazes, which are still going strong after nine days.
At least 71 have been killed and 10,000 houses destroyed.
Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea said the number unaccounted for had soared to 1,011.
