Trad legend De Dannan burial details

FUNERAL details for legendary De Dannan star Alec Finn have been announced.

Alec, 74, passed away at his home, Oranmore Castle in Galway, on Friday.

The trad legend will be buried in Galway tomorrow and a notice on RIP.IE says: “Alec passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.”

A wake will be held at Oranmore Castle, Galway today from 12pm to 3pm.

His funeral service will take place tomorrow at 11am at St Nicholas Collegiate Church, Galway, followed by burial in Renville Cemetery, Oranmore, Galway.
