Wrestling’s a pain in neck for Arquette

HOLLYWOOD actor turned wrestler David Arquette was rushed to hospital after a bloody “Death Match” bout.

The ex-husband of Friends star Courteney Cox, who is a huge wrestling fan, was smashed in the skull and face with florescent light tubes.

Arquette, 47, star of Scream and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, clutched his neck in an attempt to stem the blood flow.

He staggered out of the ring but ran back so opponent Nick Gage could pin him down to end the bout.

He was then taken to hospital after Friday’s bloodshed in Los Angeles.

Yesterday he tweeted: “Thank you to all the fans for your love. I’m stitched up. Turns out Death Matches aren’t my thing.”
