Lil Pump gig evacuated in ‘flare’ terror
AROUND 2,000 people were evacuated from a music venue when a suspected smoke flare was set off during a gig by US rapper Lil Pump.
Police were called to Rock City in Nottingham and medics treated around 20 people on Friday night.
Fan Harry Rutter, 20, said: “I couldn’t breathe. People had stopped watching the music and were just trying to get out.
“There was a real sense of panic. People were crying and stuff, and a few were vomiting.”
Lil Pump, 18, continued the gig from on top of his tour bus outside the venue.
Nottinghamshire police said: “Officers are appealing to anyone with footage in and around the venue at the time of the incident to contact us.”
