Kids learn from stability Children whose parents have lots of new partners are more likely to have multiple break-ups as adults.

And the “merry-go-round” of partners in some homes is harming kids’ mental health, an Ohio University study says.

Researcher­s claim kids learn relationsh­ip skills from parents and are likely to copy them.

“Stable romantic unions are linked to better mental and physical health for adults and children,” the authors wrote. “But half of first cohabiting unions dissolve within three years and half of first marriages within 20 years.”
