Anthea lays down law in motor row

- BY JANINE YAQOOB TV Editor

TV star Anthea Turner looks determined to make her case after getting involved in a motoring argument.

A black cab driver had claimed that the former Blue Peter star, 58, pranged his car in Knightsbridge, West London.

Police arrived and spoke to them both separately – and quickly established there had been a misunderstanding.

Police said: “A taxi driver approached police after reporting that his vehicle had been damaged by the driver of another car who had allegedly failed to stop. Officers spoke to both the taxi driver and the driver of the other vehicle.

“Upon further inspection the taxi driver was satisfied that no damage to his vehicle had been sustained. No complaints were made and no further action was taken.”

Anthea was last seen in C5’s Celebs In Solitary in September – and told of how living on her own after her split from Grant Bovey had prepared her for the show.
