Man arrested after ‘€600k cannabis’ raid
GARDAI have arrested a man after seizing an alleged €600,000 of cannabis at a house.
The raid took place in Tallanstown, Ardee, Co Louth, at around 8pm on Friday.
A 46-year-old male was arrested in connection with the investigation.
He is currently being detained at Drogheda Garda station under the provisions of section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
The search was part of ongoing probes by gardai targeting serious criminal activity in the Co Louth Division.
The crackdown is supported by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
