Farrell gets his kicks with Guy Ritchie film
COLIN Farrell will pack a real punch as he takes on the role of an MMA trainer in Guy Ritchie’s new movie Toff Guys. The Dubliner, 42, will play a character called Coach in the crime thriller which is said to be similar to Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
In an all-star cast Matthew Mcconaughey plays the lead role of a businessman who has built a marijuana empire and now wants to get out. Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery, 36, has signed up for the role of his wife and replaces A-lister Kate Beckinsale who had to pull out of the film.
Hugh Grant is also on board as a sleazy photographer who takes scandalous pictures of Mcconaughey’s character with the aim of blackmailing him. Henry Golding plays a Vietnamese gangster.
Production is already under way but before it hits our screens dadof-two Farrell will appear in Disney’s remake of Dumbo which opens in the spring.
