Appeal after biker crash

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses after a biker was seriously injured in a crash.

A car and motorcycle collided on the Middle Glanmire Road, Cork, just after 5pm on Friday.

The injured man, in his 40s, was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital.

A 28-year-old, believed to be the driver of the car, was arrested a short distance away but he has since has been released without charge.
