Lorry crash victim dies

A MAN has died in hospital after being hit by a lorry last week.

The 39-year-old was pronounced dead at South Tipperary General Hospital on Friday evening.

He had sustained serious head injuries after being struck on the N24 road at Knockanore near Clonmel.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.

Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses to contact them.
