Bradley took knocks and a star was born
Bradley ACTOR Bradley Cooper almost quit Hollywood three times after having doors slammed in his face.
Cooper, tipped for Oscar glory for A Star Is Born, said one director even told him “he was not f***able enough” for a movie.
Cooper, 43, said: “It is hard. I find this business to be hard at times. I’ve wanted to quit three times.
“It was more like, ‘I’m not meant for this business’.” But he persevered .
He said: “Something inside me said, ‘I have no other choice’.”
Cooper, lead man and the director in A Star is Born, was speaking as he collected the American Cinematheque Award.
He said: “I’m the beneficiary of a lot of people who were kind and gave me a chance over the years.” Jamie Dornan
