Spanish giants eye January move
REAL MADRID are plotting a sensational move for Aaron Ramsey in January.
The Arsenal midfielder can sign a pre-contract agreement with continental clubs in the new year – before becoming a free agent in the summer. The 28-year-old (left) is regarded highly at the Bernabeu and contact has already been made.
Madrid’s interest throws up the tantalising prospect for Ramsey of teaming up with fellow Welshman Gareth Bale,
who left Tottenham to join the Spanish giants in an £85million deal five years ago.
News of Madrid’s interest will worry Bayern Munich and Juventus, who are also both keen to land Ramsey.
Bayern have been longstanding admirers of Ramsey and they are determined to snap up the talented star.
But the Germans fear they may be blown out of the water on wages.
Ramsey’s wife Colleen gave birth to twin boys in October, but the Arsenal star isn’t averse to a new challenge abroad.
