ALEXIS SANCHEZ has been left in the cold at Old Trafford – by a fridge in the dressing room.

It has emerged that the Chile striker (below) has felt the chill of a drinks cooler.

It’s understood the former Arsenal man’s seat and locker were adjacent to the fridge holding cold drinks for boss Jose Mourinho’s stars.

Each time it was opened by a team-mate or member of staff the £450,000-a-week star was hit with a cold draught which left him chilly. And Sanchez has not had much first-team action to warm up him up. An Old Trafford insider said: “Sanchez wasn’t happy that he was forever being hit with cold air when the cooler was opened. “In a busy dressing room, the fridge is used continually and it became an annoyance for him. “Club maintenance staff were called in to sort it out, which has been done.”
