Farrell praises brave Emma as they raise funds for rare skin condition

With young fan A HAPPY couple say “tri do” with a little gentle prodding from Aquaman star Jason Momoa.

The actor, 39, was enjoying the beach with his family and friends on Oahu, Hawaii, when the wedding party spotted him. And being a true hero, he was happy to oblige when asked to wield a trident for some jokey snaps.

Jason’s film, based on the DC Comics character, is making waves at the box office – and his surprise turn was the catch of this big day.

Farrell, 42, told Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy: “I’d never heard of Epidermoly­sis bullosa.

“I couldn’t imagine living through or living with what those boys and girls and young men and women who have EB live through every day. I just couldn’t get my head around it. And then having met Emma and spoken to her on the phone and stuff.“Emma, 30, from Co Laois, revealed how she was born with no skin on her feet and doctors initially told her parents she Emma Fogerty and Colin Jason as Aquaman would only survive a few days. She said: “I believe you have two choices in life. You can sit in the corner and dwell on your problems but I was given a life and I was given a life to live.

“And I am determined to live it to the fullest and the best of my ability.”

The friends are looking to raise €60,000 for EB charity Debra Ireland’s Family Support Services.

Farrell said: “Don’t turn me being on here to be a negative thing. It’s about Emma and what’s deserved and what’s right and the support for her and the community, which is a small one.”
