HRT pills now being linked to blood clots
HRT pills spark new fear First HRT was associated with an increased risk of breast cancer and now it is being linked to blood clots.
A study by the University of Nottingham, involving 80,000 women, found that those who took the pills were at higher risk of pulmonary embolism or deep vein thrombosis.
The researchers said that the risk was low for women using HRT treatments other than tablets.
