STEVE EVANS saluted loan star Lee Tomlin after Peterborough climbed back into the play-off places.

Tomlin set his new side on the way to victory, with George Cooper adding a second.

Ethan Hamilton pulled one back for Rochdale.

Evans said: “Lee is a top, top player and we are very fortunate to have him back at this club… as long as he behaves himself!”

Dale boss Keith Hill said: “The fact we didn’t give up has at least provided me with encouragement.”
