DINO MAAMRIA hailed the resilience and desire of his Stevenage side.

James Ball scored a first-half brace either side of Dominic Poleon’s equaliser.

Maamria said: “We showed resilience and the will to win. The work-rate and togetherne­ss was second to none. When a team have those things, they can go far.”

Crawley manager Gabrielle Cioffi said: “We gifted them two goals, but we turned the corner in the second half.”
