And Sam Smith, 26 – who split with US actor Brandon Flynn, 25, last June – admits he can’t even look at loved-up couples. “I am not in that mood at the moment,” he sighs. “When I see couples I just want to poke their eyes out. “It is hard to feel happy for other people when you are feeling so s***.” Talking to Will Young on his Homo Sapiens podcast, he admits he gets “really low” on his current US tour. Sam says: “This tour has been amazing. It is still a bit of a crazy experience and sometimes I get really low on tour. “I think it is just part of my life at the moment. Nobody can relate to what I am going through.” Chin up, Sam. Singer Sam Caroline with me Caroline Flack is one popular lady. The TV presenter, 39, was flanked by men trying to chat her up at the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star party this week. It comes after she was spotted getting close to Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard, 24, at the National TV Awards. It’s not only hot men that are demanding of Caroline’s time. “I’ve got a lot of work coming up, but I can’t talk about it yet,” she says before adding that her brilliant stint in West End musical Chicago was the “proudest” moment of her career.
