THINK pink for SS19 as the feminine shade is getting a reboot for the new season ahead. Designers from New York to Paris showcased their SS19 collections and powerful pink was a predominant trend on all the runways.
Marc Jacobs paraded voluminous millennial pink dresses while bubblegum pink was the order of the day for Moschino’s 1980s-inspired collection.
Preppy pink shades on deconstructed and twisted school uniform were seen at Prada.
Meanwhile, Alessandro Michele made sure the colour was well represented in Gucci’s SS19 blooming collection, combining rose pink hues with bright red sequins and plenty of patterns.
Naturally, awards season has also been awash with pretty pink gowns.
Emily Blunt stunned in a Michael Kors Collection dress as she stepped up on-stage to collect her SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Supporting Role for her appearance in husband John Krasiniski’s post-apocalyptic horror film, A Quiet Place.
