Busted fans’ fury at signed CD ‘gimmick’

- BY STEPHEN HAYWARD

The Busted boys FANS who ordered signed copies of the new Busted album are livid after they were sent regular CDS.

Half Way There charted at number two days after its release two weeks ago.

But many fans who paid for limited edition copies were sent unsigned CDS and claim the offer was a “gimmick” to boost sales.

A message on Busted’s Facebook page said a thousand signed copies were being made available.

But Burnley-based online shop TM Stores apologised and said it “temporarily” ran out of signed CD booklets, which will be sent at a later date.

One fan said: “Let’s face it, it was a gimmick to get more albums sold.”

A spokeswoman for Busted said they did not want to comment. Ex-wife Alex, 54
