BAKE OFF star Paul Hollywood’s ex-wife Alex yesterday denied tearing into his new young girlfriend at Marks & Spencer.

Alex, 54, reportedly called former barmaid Summer Monteys-fullam, 23, a “wh***” and a “slut” after bumping into her at the checkout.

The row allegedly spilled into the car park in Canterbury, with onlookers branding it “disgusting”.

But food writer Alex’s spokesman said: “Although she was shocked to bump into Summer, she would not verbally abuse anyone.

“Alex has kept a dignified position throughout the last 14 months, which has been very challenging.”

Alex, married to Hollywood for 20 years, added she would “definitely like to start dating again”.
