400 returnees escape charges

JUST 40 of 450 jihadis who have returned to Britain from Syria and Iraq have faced prosecution.

The Home Office has refused to say how many have been jailed, on national security grounds. It would also not comment on the fate those who were not charged.

Tory MP Philip Hollobone said: “The public are outraged that so many are being allowed to return to the UK without prosecution.”
