Natwest rat in €230k con on own bank
Jason Yeboah A NATWEST adviser gave clients’ details to crooks in a scam that netted a gang nearly €230,000.
Fraudsters cashed in by getting accounts and debit cards in customers’ names.
The gang also recruited a nationwide network of “money mules” – including a Bristol lad, 17 – and put cash into their accounts.
Investigators spotted the fraud and police found €5,000 in a bag on top of bank worker Jason Yeboah’s wardrobe.
Yeboah, 25, of Bexley, South East London, was jailed for three-and-a-half years after admitting fraud at Southwark crown court.
Five others were also jailed, including Alexander Ogun-moweta, 37, who plotted to buy a €75,000 Mercedes with his share. Babies teethe later
