Life support turned off for stabbed boy
A BOY of 16 who was stabbed outside a college has died after his life support was turned off.
He was in a coma after being knifed in the chest on Wednesday and he passed away on Friday with his family present.
Chief Superintendent Kenny Bell said: “This is a dreadful loss of another young life to knife crime.”
Two men, aged 18 and 19, suffered minor cuts in the incident at Joseph Chamberlain sixth form college in Birmingham.
A man of 19 was charged with attempted murder but that will now be reviewed after the death.
He faces the city’s crown court tomorrow.
