BECK IN THE GAME

-

NEW Salford co-owner David Beckham watched his side for the first time as they were beaten 3-1 by Dover in the National League.

Beckham last month followed in the footsteps of former Manchester United team-mates Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt to take a 10 per cent stake.

Accompanied by his son Romeo, as well as Phil Neville, Beckham was inundated with autograph and selfie requests on his arrival at the stadium – and even posed for a shot with the mascot (above).
