SIR ALEX FERGUSON is making a return to the Manchester United dugout.

United are staging a European Cup Final reunion match against Bayern Munich this May, exactly 20 years on from that historic night in the Nou Camp when Fergie became a treble winner.

Those late, great goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 1999 will never be forgotten as United became dramatic Champions League winners.

Now, United and Bayern will meet again at Old Trafford on May 26 to celebrate that amazing victory and raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation.

Sir Alex said: “I’m really looking forward to what will be a special day at Old Trafford.

“It will be great to catch up with some familiar faces and a great opportunity to support the work of Manchester United Foundation.”
