Celtic v Motherwell 3pm

JAMES FORREST insists Celtic can use the pain of Europa League exit to propel themselves towards even more success at home.

The Parkhead ace and his team-mates host Motherwell today looking to take another huge step in their quest of adding to the seven successive domestic trophies already snared under Brendan Rodgers.

But right now talk of the Treble Treble is out for Forrest.

With a dozen games to go in the Ladbrokes Premiership and potentially three more in the William Hill Scottish Cup, the winger says there is too much football to be played for that chat to begin.

However, that does not mean Forrest and his

colleagues aren’t chasing it.

And, with Europe now out of the way after a 0-3 aggregate loss to Valencia, the full focus moves on to matters at home.

Forrest said: “We’ll pick ourselves up and we’ll concentrate on trying to win trophies at home.

“There’s so much to look forward to and we’ll give that our full focus now.

“No one in that dressing room wants to talk about Trebles, there’s far too much to be done before the trophies are handed out.

“It’s Motherwell next and it’s good to have a game right off the back of a disappointment like Valencia. They are on a great run, with six wins on the bounce so they’ll make it tough.

“For us, it’s hopefully another step towards the title and another great season.”
