‘Please God let Clodagh’s poor family get answers they need’

-

SINCE the shocking story first broke it has horrified the nation. This is what our readers have been saying...

Why is it a MAN saying to stop investigating and seek answers?! Are you actually f***ing serious! Violence against women and children have to stop! The more research and understanding of symptoms/signs/ anything may help guards in future ffs.

Nicola Grant

A narcissist plain and simple. This is so hurtful to people who actually suffer from depression.

Anne Lane

The school have a lot of questions to answer. Those beautiful innocent people WHO LOVED HIM, he wasn’t protecting them, this was pure EVIL control... Good on her family fighting for justice in Clodagh’s memory, beyond sad... but they are doing her proud. Simply unthinkable.

Geraldine Gunn

It’s all coming out now... absolute monster bless that woman and those poor children.

Donna Duffy

Why was he even allowed to return to his workplace? He was caught watching porn in the school before the summer holidays, why wasn’t it addressed right away instead of a meeting arranged on the first day back at school???

Noreen Mcevoy

Were the parents of the school notified their children were being observed and why? I hope so. I’d go crazy if I as a parent was not notified.

JJ Richard

Her family need answers and the answers are in that report in which her family should be able to access. I feel the answers are within the school. Please have empathy for her family give them answers.

Margaret Mcgrath

Her name was Clodagh. Their names were Niall, Liam and Ryan. Their family deserve answers.

Fiona Uí Sionnaigh

At the time depression was blamed for his atrocious crimes. No wonder there’s still such a taboo around depression and mental health.

Sinead Harkin-flynn

Oh my god what an evil b ***** d. Words are beyond me for a husband and father to do that, may he rot in hell forever. Please God let Clodagh’s family get the answers they need to try and come to terms with this awful crime.

Margaret Hawkins All the unanswered questions. Not that it will change the outcome now. Please give poor Clodagh’s family some peace and tell them what you know.

Eimear O’ Sullivan

I’m just so sad for Clodagh and her beautiful boys. Such a brutal attack on his family. To blame it on mental health is wrong. He was a monster. How could anyone do that? It absolutely breaks my heart... I’m so sorry for her family and may she and her children RIP.

Sinead Helen Switzer

He didn’t seem too “depressed “when he was on the school laptop. This is becoming far too common in this country. That poor family need answers. RIP Clodagh & her wee angels.

Norma Kearse

This animal should never have been buried in holy ground even for 50 days. I hope he screams in hell for all eternity he doesn’t deserve the title father, he’s a monster.

Michelle Cullen

I remember reading comments by people from that town defending him! Try defending him now.
