TRIBUTES have been paid to “three angels” found dead at their home on Friday night.

The bodies of Conor Mcginley, nine, his brother Darragh, seven, and their three-year-old sister Carla were yesterday removed from the property in Newcastle village, Co Dublin.

One family friend said: “An absolutely tragic loss to the community. RIP to these three angels.”

Gardai were last night waiting to speak to a woman in her 40s, believed to be their mother, who is being treated in hospital. Parish priest Fr Kevin Doherty said: “The darkness has come over our community... our hearts are broken.”

Priest pays tribute after bodies of children found in their home A COMMUNITY was in shock last night following the tragic death of “three angels” whose bodies were found at their home on Friday.

Gardai named the children as brothers and sister Conor Mcginley, nine, Darragh, seven, and three-yearold Carla.

Their bodies were removed from the house at Parson’s Court in Newcastle village, Co Dublin, yesterday for a full postmortem.

Gardai, who said the deaths were not believed to be of natural causes, are expected to launch a triple murder investigation.

A woman in her 40s, who is believed to be the mother of the young children, was found “disorientated” on the street by a taxi driver who brought her back to her home address.

She was brought to Tallaght Hospital following the grim discovery where it’s understood gardai were last night waiting to speak to her.

A note reading, “Don’t go upstairs... call 999” was reportedly found on a window sill at the house.

Gardai believe the children were living with their mother at the property in a quiet cul de sac at the time.

Their devastated father Andrew

Mcginley yesterday released a picture of himself with his children through the gardai.

Meanwhile, Rathcoole Boys Football Club posted on Facebook that their thoughts were with the family at this terrible time.

They wrote: “It is impossible to put into words the shock and heartfelt sorrow we are all feeling as a result of the tragic loss of Conor, Darragh and Carla.

“As a club, we are together and as a community, we are united in grief.

“Please keep the Mcginley family in your thoughts at this exceptionally difficult time.”

One person commented on the post and told how Conor played for the team last year.

He wrote: “Awful news to wake up to this morning. Conor was on my team last year and was the sweetest, most polite and helpful young boy you could ever have the pleasure to meet. I am still in shock.

“An absolutely tragic loss to the community. RIP to these three angels.”

A special Mass was held yesterday morning at St Finian’s Church where parish priest Fr Kevin Doherty said the community’s hearts were broken.

He told the packed congregation a darkness had fallen over the area.

People sobbed openly throughout the short service as a steady queue formed to sign a book of condolence during the service.

Fr Doherty told mass-goers: “I think we came because our hearts want us to be here.

“Our hearts that are broken, and a community’s heart that is devastated.
