GRIEVING Elber Twomey – who lost her husband, young son and unborn baby girl in a horrific car crash – has vowed to keep on campaigning in their names.
Speaking on the eighth anniversary of the tragedy which wiped out her family, the Cork woman said if one life can be saved by her actions then it will be worth it.
She believes 16-month-old son Oisin, unborn baby Elber Marie – who the family refer to as Little Lady – and husband Con are smiling down from heaven.
They died in a head-on collision in England on July 6, 2012, while on a UK holiday.

Every June, Elber organises the Twomey Remorial Weekend to remember the trio while fundraising for road safety and mental health awareness.
This year, Elber and Con’s family called on people to participate in the Virtual Twomey Family Remorial and set themselves a goal to run, walk or cycle every day from June 5 to 12.
Health campaigners Vicky Phelan and John Wall also lent their support to Elber’s awareness week.
She told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “When you see people in Cavan, Derry and Kerry that you don’t know, and they walked, ran or cycled over the week – it’s just beautiful.
“It was lovely, the number of people who thanked us for giving them a purpose for the week, to get out and do a bit of exercise.
“Vicky Phelan very kindly joined in and John Wall joined also – they’re inspirational.”
