JESS FOR SUCCESS

Harrington’s Privilege in fashion at Limerick today

- RYAN MCELLIGOTT

JESSICA Harrington’s Privilege makes most appeal in a tricky rated race which takes centre stage at Limerick this afternoon.

This 85-rated colt showed a nice level of form to reach the frame on his first two starts and then took a step forward to win at Tipperary last time.

This looks a tougher race but Privilege won in the manner of a smart sort and he should be able to cope with this assignment.

He looks nicely treated for his first try outside of maiden company and can take this en route to better things.

A case could be made for quite a few of his rivals and possibly he might have most to fear from Belmont Avenue.

This colt looked a nice type when he was second in a Cork maiden on his debut last autumn and he returned to promise when winning nicely at Dundalk a few months ago.

In the mile and a half maiden it is hard to look past the claims of the Aidan O’brien-trained King Of The Castle.

He shaped like a nice stayer in the making when third in a reasonable Leopardstown maiden a couple of months ago.

On his most recent outing he met with defeat again but acquitted himself well in filling the runner-up spot in the Ulster Derby.

A rating of 94 would suggest that King Of The Castle should take all the beating here.

In the first of the day’s maidens a chance is taken on Ken Condon’s Lord Luker who has begun his career with a couple of solid runs in defeat.

His debut fifth at Leopardstown in May represented an encouraging run in quite a decent looking maiden.

He once again shaped up well on his most recent start where he was beaten less than two lengths into fourth by Exuma in a maiden over this course and distance.

In the opening handicap Dynakite looks a solid option after running with credit in recent starts.

And Wee Pablo has been in excellent heart since the start of the season and he looks a solid option in the second handicap.

He has won two of his last three starts.
