Lana facing autumn sadness

Singer’s single again after splitting from fiancé

-

It’s not just Summertime Sadness for as winter approaches, she’s battling heartbreak after splitting from her fiancé.

Lana Del Rey...

The singer was engaged to Clayton Johnson last December, only months after the pair found love on a dating app.

But they parted ways, with Lana, 36, quitting social media in September, saying she wanted to focus on “different endeavours”.

Musician Clayton, 32, erased a snap of them together from his Instagram which he shared in February.

EXCLUSIVE

My source says: “She’s been working on the new album. “Lockdown had its struggles and they have sadly gone their separate ways.” On new album Blue Banisters, Lana writes about piling on weight during lockdown, and how she wants a boyfriend, but says a man will only see her in “his dreams” from now on. In track Black Bathing Suit, she croons: “And if this is the end, I want a boyfriend. Someone to eat ice cream with and watch television/my time is run over, so the only time you’ll ever see me/ Is in your dreams, in my black bathing suit.”

She started dating Clayton after she split from police officer Sean Larkin.

Lana previously dated Scottish singer Barriejames O’neill for three years until 2014, before romancing Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini in 2015 and rapper G-eazy in 2017.

Now she is back in singleville, I’m sure she’ll have admirers lining up to date her.

Ladies and gentleman, please form an orderly queue...

Nile Rodgers may be knocking on 70, but the Chic superstar has vowed never to retire. In fact, he’s already eyeing up pal Adele for a dream collaboration. Nile tells me: “I love Adele – she asked me to perform at her birthday party and we had a blast. Who wouldn’t want to work with her?” He was chatting at London’s brand-new David Bowie pop-up store. The memorabilia shop is open for 75 days to celebrate what would have been the Heroes singer’s 75th birthday. Nile, who made Let’s Dance with Bowie, adds: “Bowie’s legacy means everything to me. Meeting him changed my life. I’d had eight album flops in a row when I produced Let’s Dance. It was fate that we met. It was literally love at first sight.”
