The world’s first Warner Bros Hotel, the WB Abu Dhabi, has landed on Yas Island. Opening on November 11, next to indoor theme park Warner Bros World, the UAE capital will also be welcoming its first Curio Collection by Hilton property.

Fans can celebrate the rich history of the studio that brought you the likes of Looney Tunes, Scooby-doo and Tom & Jerry, to name a few. Guests will be greeted by the iconic Friends fountain set at the entrance of the 257-room hotel and get up close to a collection of props and costumes from classic WB films and TV shows in the Prop Shop.

And if you ring up one of your favourite Looney Tunes cartoon characters for a room service treat it might even be delivered by Bugs Bunny himself.

With five dining options, all the family will be well catered for. Sidekicks serves up an internatio­nal menu, or for casual eating head to The Matinee, while for elegant dining book a table at the Director’s Club.

Relax over coffee in the lobby’s Craft Services or soak up stunning 360-degree views lounging with a drink by the infinity pool at The Overlook.

Just a drop-kick away from Principali­ty Stadium, Cardiff welcomed the launch of The Parkgate last week, in time for Wales’ Autumn Nations Series.

Part of the prestigiou­s Celtic Collection which includes Celtic Manor Resort, the luxurious 170-room hotel is housed in two of city’s most historic landmarks – the former Head Post Office and the old County Court.
