I’m A Celeb star faces prison over claims of harassing ex’s fiancée

KATIE Price could serve a prison sentence after allegedly breaching a restraining order from her ex’s new girlfriend.
The star spent Friday night in a cell after being arrested over text messages said to have been sent to Michelle Pentecost – fiancée of Katie’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Katie is already serving a suspended sentence for drink-driving.
And any restraining order breach could also violate the terms of the suspended sentence – meaning a possible jail stretch.
The TV star and ex-glamour model was arrested at teatime on Friday and driven 12 miles from her luxury home in Horsham to Worthing police station, West Sussex.
Sussex Police said: “At 5.45pm on Friday police responded to a report that a suspect had breached their restraining order.
“Officers arrested a woman in her 40s who has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.”
The arrest comes four months after mum-of-five Katie, 43, flipped her car – at 6.20am on September 28. She pleaded guilty to drink-driving, having no insurance and breaching a roads ban. The I’m A Celebrity star appeared before Crawley magistrates last month.
She was given 100 hours of community service, a two-year driving ban and a 16-week jail sentence – suspended for 12 months. It was her sixth driving offence in a decade. News of Friday’s arrest came after Kieran was asked by police to attend a voluntary interview over an allegation of sexually assaulting an underage girl in 2016 – which he vehemently denies. He is due to speak to police this week.
Katie – now engaged to Carl Woods, 32 – wed Kieran, 34, in 2013 but they split after it emerged he cheated on her. He met Michelle at the school her son and his kids with Katie attend.
Katie appeared in court in 2019 after a foulmouthed tirade
at the school gates – reportedly calling Michelle a “f***ing c ***” and telling her: “You can kiss my daughter but you can’t say hello.”
Michelle – who now has a baby son with Kieran – was granted a five-year restraining order against Katie.
The star admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment.
In a victim statement, Michelle said: “It is clear Miss Price has been poisoning their children’s view of me - saying I’m fat, I have a big a**e, that I hate mummy [Price]. I’m anxious I may still see her and I just want to get outside the school as soon as possible.”
Katie has spent a night in the cells once before. In 2018 she was held for 13 hours at Plumstead police station, South East London, after her pink Range Rover crashed at 2am. A charge of being drunk in charge of a vehicle was dropped due to a lack of evidence.
