No time for love says her mum
DANCING on Ice star Liberty Poole is pretty chilled out about finding love – and would sooner have a day off, her mum says.
The bubbly Brummie has been so busy training that she uses any spare time to grab some shuteye.
Mum Jo Poole, who has flown over from Abu Dhabi to support her girl, says: “She’s not looking for love. She is very instinctive, kind, caring and honest – when a relationship is right she will know, but at this moment she’d just prefer a day off.
“She says ‘Mum I’m not looking to settle down but the next person I meet I want it to be a great relationship – a real relationship.’
“But she’s so busy. She is at the studio six days a week and has no down time, but she’s okay with it.”

Her first DOI dance was to Little Mix anthem Shout Out to My Ex – a possible reference to Jake Cornish, who she fell for on Love Island. But Jo, who works in real estate, says Liberty bears no grudge.
She adds: “Everybody has moved on. She wouldn’t see it as revenge or karma, she gets on with her own thing.
“She feels sorry for her worst enemy – that’s the person she is.”
Jo also tells how Liberty was just 12 when she played matchmaker to unite her and husband Stu, who lived nearby.
Liberty trains at the same ice rink in Solihull, West Mids, where Jo almost reached professional ranks back in the day.
They have watched DOI together for years and Jo plans to take her old skates to be signed by show judges Torvill and Dean tonight.
