Model Heidi still body confident
BY HEIDI Klum says she is ready to take her clothes off at the drop of a hat, even though she’s in her 50th year.
The supermodel, 49, who has been sharing glam bikini snaps on Instagram, says she has no body hangups, despite her advancing years.
Heidi, who posed naked for Allure magazine in 2012, said: “I feel the same as I always did. You don’t have to ask me twice to take my clothes off and show myself in lingerie. It’s kind of like putting on an old hat, in a way.”
Heidi’s lookalike daughter Leni, 18, has followed her into the modelling business.
She said: “It’s great and a bit scary at the same time, because the world is big and there are a lot of crazy people out there.
“But I love that she is getting to do all of the things I always dreamed of doing. She’s worked on campaigns for Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior Beauty.”
Leni has received a lot of career advice from Heidi, who was raised in West Germany and won a TV model contest in 1992 after sending in some holiday shots. Of the win, she said: “It was just a fluke… I never dreamed it would lead to an actual job.” Heidi is now back on Amazon Prime Video’s Making the Cut, where fashion designers compete to win $1million. Her fellow judge on series three of the show, which starts next week, is fashion guru and “TV husband” Tim Gunn. The mum-of-four joked: “It’s the longest relationship I have ever been in.” Heidi, who is married to singer Tom Kaulitz, was also tempted back to modelling for Kim Kardashian’s Skims shapewear campaign. She said: “Kim called me up and asked if I wanted to do the Skims ad with Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Tyra Banks. I was like, ‘Hell yeah!’ It was a lot of fun to be with my Victoria’s Secret angels again.”
